Ben Zuckerman

Biography

Ben Zuckerman is a friend of Paul Watson and a board member of his ship-sinking Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. Elected to the Sierra Club board of directors in 2002, Zuckerman and Watson are seeking to hijack the Club's board in hopes of remaking the organization in their radical image. Zuckerman holds a doctorate in astronomy and is a professor of physics and astronomy at the University of California Los Angeles. Zuckerman is also a Steering Committee Member of Sierrans for U.S. Population Stabilization.
