Jane Rissler

Biography
In 1993, Jane Rissler moved from the National Wildlife Foundation to the Union of Concerned Scientists, along with her boss, Margaret Mellon. She had come to the National Wildlife Center through the revolving door that connects environmental activist groups with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Along with Mellon, Rissler is a nearly ubiquitous critic of biotech foods. The impressive-sounding titles of her published works on the topic land her plenty of television and radio appearances.
