Biography
Michael D. Calhoun has been president of the Center for Responsible Lending since 2006. Prior to being named president, Calhoun was the organization’s lobbyist. Announcing the move, CRL said Calhoun’s “acceptance of the post indicates that advancing CRL's issues in Congress and nationwide is becoming increasingly important to the organization.” Translation: When it comes to lobbying, CRL means (anti-)business.
