Center for Science in the Public Interest
Both the Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI) and the Robert F. Kennedy Jr.-run Waterkeeper Alliance are members of the Keep Antibiotics Working Coalition, which aims to scare the public about the use of antibiotics on farm animals.

Environmental Media Services
The Water Keeper Alliance grew out of the Hudson Riverkeepers, an organization founded by fisherman and outdoors columnist Robert H. Boyle. Although Boyle walked out on his brainchild in 1999 following Robert Kennedy’s insistence upon hiring a convicted felon (found guilty of crimes against the environment) as the group’s chief scientific analyst, he (Boyle) has shown no indication that he plans to leave his post on the board of directors of Environmental Media Services.

Humane Society of the United States
Both the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) and the Waterkeeper Alliance are members of the fear-mongering Keep Antibiotics Working coalition, which aims to scare the public about the use of antibiotics on farm animals. HSUS has signed onto Waterkeeper lawsuits against pork-producing companies.

Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy
The Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy and the Waterkeeper Alliance are both active members of the Keep Anbitiotics Working coalition, a Washington-based PR campaign whose chief product is unwarranted public fear about the responsible use of antibiotics by livestock farmers.

Iowa Citizens for Community Improvement
The anti-hog farming Waterkeeper Alliance finds itself in frequent solidarity with Iowa Citizens for Community Improvement. In 2002 Waterkeeper president Robert F. Kennedy Jr. lit a few rhetorical firebombs in Iowa when he compared hog farmers to Osama bin Laden. In the July 25, 2002 issue of the Van Buren County Register, ICCI board member Garry Klicker affirmed his support of Kennedy’s anti-hog statements: “I’m very proud of our association with other groups who have common goals. Waterkeepers [sic] is one I not only am happy to support, but have joined as well. Robert Kennedy’s strong statements are exactly on target.” As further evidence of his group’s solidarity with Waterkeeper, ICCI Executive Director Hugh Espey spoke at the group’s 2002 convention in Clear Lake, Iowa.

Sierra Club
The Sierra Club and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s Waterkeeper Alliance sued the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in 2003, seeking to enact crushing new regulations on modern livestock farmers. In 2001, Waterkeeper enlisted the Sierra Club's full support for its wide-ranging legal assault against the pork industry. The same year Sierra announced it was joining Waterkeeper as a "full partner in litigation" against major pork farmers. The Sierra Club also heavily promotes the activities of the Waterkeeper Alliance on its website.

Union of Concerned Scientists
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr’s Waterkeeper Alliance hopes to completely end America’s pork industry. So it’s no surprise that the group has joined with the Union of Concerned Scientists and others in the “Keep Antibiotics Working” campaign, which aims to restrict farmers’ use of antibiotics in animals.
